POLYESTER FILTER CLOTH – STYLE # 217-DA

Polyester filter and dust collection fabrics have very good resistance to chemicals, abrasion and dry heat degradation, plus excellent dimensional stability. Typical applications include dust collection, particularly in the cement industry; acid refining of ore; anode bags for electroplating; tubular battery separation fabrics.

Acids	Good resistance to most mineral and organic acids except high concentrations of nitric, sulfuric and carbolic acids.
Alkalis	Good resistance to weak alkalis and moderate resistance to strong alkalis at low temperatures. Strong alkalis at high concentrations and temperatures dissolve polyesters.
Oxidizing Agents	Good resistance to most oxidizing agents.
Organic Solvents	Excellent to most organic solvents, but unsuited for some phenolic compounds and affected by cyclohexanone at 313 ºF.
