A minimum order is required and the turnaround time is greater than it would be for a Primary Paper Grade.

Kavon Filter Products Co. offers Ahlstrom-Munksjö Hollytex® Nonwovens, a wide range of calendared synthetic nonwovens that fulfill a variety of market needs. Ahlstrom-Munksjö Hollytex® is made by a hot calendaring process that improves uniformity of nonwoven web and increases smoothness by laying down loose fibers.
The product is available in over 30 commercial grades with various properties and either as a Spunbonded Polyester or Spunbonded Polypropylene.
Ahlstrom-Munksjö Hollytex® can be delivered in both single-layer and multilayer composites.

Characteristics and Benefits
Ahlstrom-Munksjö Hollytex® calendared nonwoven media features high tensile and tear strength, non-raveling edges, dimensional stability and controlled permeability. Product contains no resins, sizing or binders and has good chemical resistance, particularly in acids, oxidizing agents and solvents. Ahlstrom-Munksjö Hollytex® is suitable for many different applications.
REEMAY® spunbonded polyester is a sheet structure of continuous filament polyester fibers that are randomly arranged, highly dispersed, and bonded at the filament junctions. The chemical and thermal properties of REEMAY® are essentially those of polyester fiber, and the product’s spunbonded structure further endows it with an extraordinary combination of physical properties which gives it ready application in many areas of the filtration industry. Among the distinctive characteristics of REEMAY® are high tensile and tear strength, non-raveling edges, excellent dimensional stability, no media migration, good chemical resistance, and controlled arrestance and permeability. REEMAY® is produced with either straight or crimped polyester fibers which give the various product styles different filtration and other general performance properties. Crimped fibers yield softness, conformability, and greater porosity; straight fibers yield stiffness, tighter structure, and finer arrestance.
